These terms govern your purchase and use of AIStorageDepot Server. By purchasing a license, you agree to them on behalf of the company named at checkout (“you”).
A perpetual, non-exclusive license to install and run AIStorageDepot Server on infrastructure you control, for use by your own employees and contractors. One license covers one production deployment (plus non-production copies for testing). Your license key never expires — installs keep working indefinitely.
Your purchase includes every release we publish for one year from the purchase date. After that, releases newer than your coverage window require an update renewal (currently US$299/year). Not renewing never affects the releases you already have.
The software (including its source, which you receive) remains our copyrighted work. You may read and modify it for your own deployment, but you may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, publish, or offer it (or a derivative) to third parties — including as a hosted service. The prebuilt content library included with the product may be used in your work but not resold or redistributed as a collection.
AIStorageDepot Server runs entirely on your infrastructure, stores data only in your database, and sends no telemetry to us. We are not a processor of your data; our SaaS Privacy Policy does not apply to your deployment. Backups, access control, and the safekeeping of your encryption keys are your responsibility (the runbooks cover all three).
The license includes the documentation and runbooks, access to our releases repository, and reasonable email assistance for installation. It does not include managed support, SLAs, or custom development — those are available separately by agreement.
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the software will not exceed the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months before the claim, and we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits.
The license terminates automatically if you materially breach section 3 and don’t cure within 30 days of notice. Sections 3, 4, 6, and 8 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States; disputes go exclusively to the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
