session-wrap-up
At the end of a work session, summarize what changed and propose updates to the project's AI-rules file. Use when you're wrapping up a work session and want to capture what was learned.

When we wrap up, capture what was learned so the next session starts smarter.

  1. Summarize what we did: the changes made, decisions reached, and anything left open — grouped, in plain language.
  2. Scan for durable lessons: gotchas hit, conventions confirmed, commands that matter, rules we agreed on.
  3. Separate shared from personal. Repo-wide conventions belong in the project's AI-rules file (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, or .cursorrules); one-off context does not.
  4. Draft the specific additions as a short, paste-ready block. Keep it high-signal — a rules file only helps if it stays short enough to always get read.
  5. Flag anything already covered so you don't duplicate an existing rule.
  6. Show me the summary and the proposed additions. Do not edit the rules file until I approve.
